A voice for the people.

In November 2020, City of Dexter voters elected me to be one of their City Council representatives. In my role, I am advocating for:

• More frequent and regular outreach to citizens to gather representative and informed input about key decisions

• Evidence-based decision making that promotes the health, safety, and general welfare of City of Dexter residents

• A balanced approach to growth characterized by the responsible stewardship of limited resources

Since being elected, I am particularly proud to have initiated and/or championed:

• The approval of the publishing of video recordings of City Council (here) and Planning Commission (here) meetings

• The drafting and adoption of a robust conflict of interest ordinance as required by the City Charter

• The drafting and administration of the first City-sponsored city-wide survey covering a broad range of topics since 2011 (media coverage here)
